Rebooking, refunds offered as suspensions extend into late 2026
DUBAI – Travellers planning journeys through Dubai International Airport are being urged to stay updated as multiple international airlines continue to adjust their operations.
While Emirates and flydubai maintain reduced but extensive networks, a wide range of global carriers remain temporarily absent from the schedule.
Airlines across Europe, Asia and North America have issued revised timelines for resuming services to Dubai, with some suspensions stretching well into the final quarter of 2026.
Here is a detailed breakdown of 19 airlines and their latest announced return dates.
Aegean Airlines
The Greek flag carrier has suspended all Dubai operations until June 29, 2026. Flights are expected to resume with evening arrivals scheduled on that date. Passengers affected by cancellations can opt for refunds or credit vouchers, while ticket changes are permitted without reissue fees for travel up to July 31.
Air Astana
Kazakhstan’s national airline has extended its suspension of Dubai flights until May 31. Travellers impacted by these changes are eligible for full refunds or free rebooking in the same class for departures scheduled through to July 31.
airBaltic
Latvia’s carrier has one of the longest suspension periods, with flights to and from Dubai halted until October 24. The airline has stated it will resume operations once conditions allow, with passengers to be contacted directly regarding updates.
Air Canada
Air Canada has cancelled all Dubai services until September 7. Customers can rebook for travel between September 8 and December 15 without additional fees, switch destinations within the same timeframe, or cancel for travel credit.
Air France
Flights operated by Air France remain suspended until May 10 inclusive, with the return service from Dubai on May 11 also cancelled. The airline continues to monitor developments closely and is offering flexible rebooking and cancellation options.
British Airways
The UK’s flag carrier has extended cancellations on Dubai routes until May 31. This applies alongside suspensions to other regional destinations. Customers can rebook, reroute, or request full refunds for bookings valid until October 31.
Cathay Pacific
Cathay Pacific has halted all Dubai flights until June 30. Passengers booked for travel up to July 31 are eligible to rebook, reroute or request refunds without incurring additional charges.
Cebu Pacific
The low-cost Filipino carrier has suspended operations to Dubai until May 31. Affected passengers have been offered options including free rebooking, full refunds, or conversion to travel funds.
Finnair
Finnair’s Dubai services are currently unavailable for booking until July 3. Customers unable to secure alternative routes are advised to apply for refunds, while the airline continues to assist with rebooking where possible.
Eurowings
Part of the Lufthansa Group, Eurowings has extended its Dubai suspension until October 24. Passengers may rebook at no additional cost or request full refunds.
KLM
KLM has confirmed that flights to and from Dubai will remain suspended until June 14. Travellers affected by cancellations can rebook free of charge or request refunds through the airline’s booking system.
Korean Air
Flights between Seoul Incheon and Dubai have been cancelled until May 31. Customers are advised to monitor flight status updates regularly before travel.
Lufthansa
The Lufthansa Group, which includes SWISS, ITA Airways and Austrian Airlines, has suspended all Dubai operations until at least May 31. The airline cited reduced flight capacity at both DXB and Dubai World Central as a contributing factor. Refunds are available for eligible tickets issued before March 1, 2026.
Pegasus Airlines
Pegasus has cancelled all Dubai flights up to June 1. Travellers are offered flexible options including full refunds, free date changes, or conversion to open tickets.
Philippine Airlines
The airline’s Manila–Dubai route (PR 658/659) is suspended until at least April 30. Passengers are able to utilise rebooking or refund options as outlined by the airline.
Royal Air Maroc
Morocco’s national carrier has suspended Dubai services until May 31. Passengers are advised not to travel to the airport and instead contact their booking provider for available options.
Singapore Airlines
Singapore Airlines has cancelled its SQ494 and SQ495 Dubai services until May 31. Affected passengers will be rebooked on alternative flights or offered refunds for unused ticket portions.
SunExpress
SunExpress, a joint venture between Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa Group, has suspended flights to Dubai until May 21. Customers can rebook without fees or request refunds.
Wizz Air
Wizz Air has not issued a formal statement, but its booking system shows no available Dubai flights until late October. This effectively places its suspension among the longest currently in place.
